natural gas has seen oversupply, and seriously underperformed oil. Year to date it's down with crude to gas ratio at unprecedented levels.

seasonal would suggest gas tends to make a bottom near aug/sep period. When heating season starts, gas rebounds.
supply is still an issue, but more utility projects are being constructed to use gas rather than oil
